I was searching for the site of a Popular chain of Shops here in Islamabad and found the domain Name which is on their bags etc. was expired and had a bit of rank so I bought it. I had thought perhaps someone would want to propose to set up a site for online ordering for them or I could just give it to them for the fee I paid as a goodwill gesture. They can always change it to something similar and I am not really interested in squatting etc..
Anyway I put up a page for them describing them and giving their number et. plus my email as a contact about the site. I also went to the shop and told them to have someone contact me but they never did. Now I took down all the info and just put available and my email. What to do now?

In that case, it seems like they intentionally let the domain expire. I would recommend either selling out the domain or putting it to good use yourself.
